2020 House of the Year Awards – Restoration

Date: March 2nd, 2021, Posted by macstudio

At Coronet Woodware the experienced team work on Queenstown renovation projects as well as new builds. This included this wonderful 1970’s property which is tucked away on Dalefield Road and surrounded by mature trees.

Winner of the “Restoration over $1 Million” for the Southern Region in the Master Builder House of the Year Awards 2020.

The CWW team worked on the interiors for this project – including the bespoke oak kitchen joinery, floating lounge room timber shelving and the custom bathroom vanity units, also crafted from solid oak.

Renovating is a delicate balance between restoring the traditional and complementing the design with contemporary touches. It was a joy to see the style flow back into this very special project.

A stunning retreat which capitalises on dramatic views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. Oversize windows allow an uninterrupted vista and the use of natural materials enable this property to blend seamlessly with the alpine landscape.

The bespoke Queenstown kitchen was crafted by the CWW team using a natural timber finish and soft close cupboards / drawers. Designed to flow on seamlessly from the lounge and dining area the kitchen becomes the heart of the property. The open shelving adds interest and a textured, lived in feel.

CWW also crafted the interior doors and mirrored vanity cupboards to complement the interior design of this stand out project.

This architectural luxury home build required high end, bespoke joinery in several areas of the property.
The show stopping bespoke kitchen is custom built while a contemporary wine cellar complements the schist / timber design.
Individually crafted bathroom vanities and custom made bed heads also formed part of the joinery project. Together these pieces work in with the home build to ensure the property owner’s dreams are fully realised.

On this high end project we worked to the highest principles of design, and our passion is evident in each and every piece we produced.
